(The Minstril x AK Shahlima) This gorgeous Al Khamsa mare is our Straight Egyptian foundation mare. She has consistently produced exceptional foals for us and has been a great ambassador for the Arabian breed at various community events. Sired by the popular US Top Ten stallion, The Minstril, and out of the lovely *Ibn Moniet El Nefous daughter and halter champion AK Shahlima, Lady Minstril has an outstanding pedigree full of champions. Her foals are consistent with type, size, and disposition. Her first foal by Prince Rex, Wizare, was 2003 Region 16 Futurity Champion stallion. Her daughter Shaarin (by Black Shaadow) was a Class A Junior Champion mare as a yearling, as well as winning in AOTH mare classes. The SE gelding Khidron (by Hawkeye CC) raced successfully, went on to place well in hunter paces, and has been shown in dressage. Aalimaar (by Prince Rex) is shown successfully in 4-H shows and much loved by a young girl. HL Nadir, also by Prince Rex, had been shown successfully up to the State Level in 4-H. After producing 3 colts by Prince Rex, in 2008 Lady has finally produced a filly by Rex. Kaahileh is everything we could have hoped for. (Photos taken at age 20.)
(Prince Ibn Shaikh x AK Maalima) This Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Heirloom/El Deree mare is sired by noted broodmare sire, most classic winner, and halter champion Prince Ibn Shaikh. Bint is an extremely typey mare that has produced two outstanding bay fillies for us by Prince Rex. In 2005, we were blessed with the exotic Fahimah, and in 2008, Bint and Rex did it again with another stunning bay filly, Fasharah. It doesn’t get much better than that. (Photos taken at age 20.)
(Shaikh El Sherif x Jai Kris Image) This big (15.1+) 2002 Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa mare is by a multi-champion Shaikh Al Badi son and out of a daughter of Sultanns Image. She has had one foal, a 2007 colt, Al Moussameh, by Prince Rex. He can be seen on our sales page.
(Prince Rex x Bint Maalima) This beautiful 2005 SE/AKfilly is the first foal of the Prince Rex/Bint Maalima cross. We couldn’t be more pleased with this young mare. She is 43.75% Babson Egyptian, and we love the look: straight legs, deep heart girth, solid build, exotic head. We look forward to seeing her mature and become even more lovely.
